Day 217: May 3, 2025 – Antigua, Guatemala
The National Network of Traditional Chefs of Guatemala is a community of women committed to preserving, strengthening and visualizing the culinary heritage of their people. This weekend at the Cocineras Tradicionales (Traditional Cooks) fair in Antigua, women from all over the country gathered to showcase their art and talent.
Their beautiful faces represent Guatemala in my Faces of the World gallery.

These are wonderful.
Oh my gosh- The clothes- the food- the people – the MUSIC…….. I would have had a ball here… I would have stayed all day. Such a wonderful culture explosion !
