Day 288: July 13, 2025 – Tracy Arm Fjord, Alaska, USA

Alaska has more than 33,000 miles of coastline (more than the combined coastline of the entire continental U.S.) and we are slowly making our way through it. Today’s route took us along the beautiful Tracy Arm Fjord, filled with snow-capped mountains, waterfalls, baby-blue icebergs, and a glacier.

We didn’t spot any bears today, but fortunately two of our shipmates brought their own.

Love the bear coats! Definitely the best was to “sport a fur” 🙂

Icebergs that float on the water are a magical color of blue… I found them amazing when I was on an Alaskan cruise. Unfortunately there was a fire in Junea and we did not see the glacier at the end of the Fjord we went into because of heavy smoke.
