Day 304: July 29, 2025 – At Sea, North Pacific Ocean

We’ve bid good-bye to Alaska and are starting our 11-day sail to Japan. Or more accurately, 10-day sail, since we will lose one day when we cross the international date line. En route, there will be 7 time zone changes. We arrive in Hakodate on August 7 and will spend over a month in Japan & South Korea. Although I’ve enjoyed every destination we’ve been to so far, many of them were repeats for me, and I’m always hankering to go someplace I’ve never been. So I’m beyond excited to head to a country I’ve never seen!
