We have almost 200 hard-working crew, staff, and officers on board the Odyssey. I recently took on the task of photographing them for a project spearheaded by my friend Pat Patrick. She came up with the idea to create a 2026 calendar highlighting the folks behind the scenes who keep our home running smoothly. Each month featured a different department. We tried to put a little fun in the pictures, instead of just a yearbook-style lineup. Crew members rotate every few months, so some of these folks have already rotated out, but some will rejoin us in the future.
Here are a few of my favorites from that photo shoot.

Captain Valentin (5th from left) was captain at the time this picture was taken.
Captain Emanuele (second from left) has rotated in and is our current captain.

What a terrific idea–love it!
A thoughtful tribute to the workers!
We love our crew.
Greatful
Grateful
I love and respect this hard-working crew. They are wonderful.
Are you sure that you don’t mean womanning the ship?
I wish I could say “womanning.” Manning is still the term used by crew on the Odyssey. And since less than 15% of the crew is female, it wouldn’t be accurate.
Are you sure you don’t mean that womanning the ship?
That is special !!!!
Well done. Enjoyed seeing all the happy faces
They are all eagerly awaiting your arrival!
