Day 451: December 25, 2025 – French Polynesia
Christmas on the Odyssey had everything one could possibly want from a holiday. A half dozen Christmas trees. A different clever Elf on the Shelf daily. The crew served a top-notch Christmas Eve dinner, then burst into song and a round of Macarena. The dinner menu included “Authentic Polish Mushroom Soup,” a staple of Polish Christmas Eve dinners. We sang Christmas carols and drank a lot. Christmas morning found us breakfasting in our pajamas. We are far from the North Pole, but Santa managed to find us, and a Secret Santa left sweet handmade ornaments on our cabin doors. The only thing missing was snow!

Was the mushroom soup at your request or just coincidence?
Pure coincidence, I had no idea until I saw it on the menu.
What a great experience they make sure you have !!!!!
Celebrate!
What an amazing Christmas experience! Wishing you an equally amazing New Year!
Who needs snow?HoHoHo!
I do, I do…I miss snow, especially this time of year!
Looks special all around. Wspaniale to wszystko wyglonda. It reminds me of the Christmas Day we spent in Goa and the family who danced in Santa hats. Your are on the way to ending this year with fun and joy. OK. I am posting the first again. Let’s see if it shows up.
Success – your comment is displaying. Yes, I remember that Goa Christmas! And yes, it was kind of like that.
