Gijón, Spain

Days 7-8: Oct 9-10, 2024 – Gijón, Spain

Our official itinerary called for a stop in Porto, Portugal. But cyclone Kirk was heading this way, and heavy rain, strong winds, and rough seas were predicted. Our captain Zeljko decided to re-route us away from the eye of the storm, and we spent the night in Gijón instead. A few scenes from the town of Gijón.

Next stop: Lisbon, Portugal.

After being in Paris last week, I think going forward I only want to visit places I’ve never heard of. Gijon looks like a nice place that fulfills that criterion!

    1. It definitely does.
