I made it to the elusive 7th continent! We arrived in Antarctica on a gloriously beautiful day, in calm waters and with full visibility of its islands and glaciers. I’m told it’s rare to get such perfect weather here. The beauty of Antarctica speaks for itself.

I did see quite a few penguins, but didn’t get any good photos of them yet. They were all skimming on top of the ocean and hard to photograph. They weren’t standing nicely on the ice like the pictures usually seen on the internet! But I’m heading out for an excursion later this week to a penguin colony, hope to get some good pics there.
