When people think of Argentina, they immediately think tango. Tango theater is everywhere in Buenos Aires, where the genre began. At the Tango Porteño theater, my travel companions and I took in a show that was full of kicks, splits, and sizzle.

I was actually surprised that photographs were allowed. I didn’t bring my camera because I thought they wouldn’t be, and ended up taking pictures with just my phone.

I bought the dress in Maldives 18 years ago, but haven’t worn it much since. It definitely suited the occasion.
