Days 112-116: January 19-23, 2025 – Chilean Fjords
This week we continue our journey through Chilean Patagonia. Tuesday, we stopped at Amalia Glacier where on the way out three whales zipped by us. Wednesday, I watched a parade of glaciers go by as I ate dinner with friends. Thursday, thousands of cascading waterfalls as we navigated through the narrow Gabriel Canal. And just now captain has announced a surprise coming up for us at around 1:00 PM. Will it be another stunning glacier? Whales? Condors? Stay tuned!

These granite pillars are an iconic landmark of Torres Del Paine National Park, where I’ll be doing an all-day excursion from our next port, Punta Arenas.

Flocks of Black-browed Albatross dotted the waters of the Gabriel Canal (the small white dots in the foreground).

Up next: Punta Arenas, Chile

You need warm clothes and a bathing suit all in one trip. Trip of a lifetime…..
Thanks again for the journey!
