Day 29: October 31, 2024 – At Sea
Our first Halloween at sea was a blast. We are an exuberant group and there were some very imaginative costumes. Especially considering that most of us only brought a few suitcases with us (plus a few in-port purchases), instead of having our entire closet at our disposal the way we would at home.

Our chef came up with a rogue’s gallery of the most unique pumpkins I’ve ever seen.

Next stop: Dakar, Senegal

And you? Did you go as the bird whistle?
No…. I sat this one out. I had something planned but it didn’t pan out. Maybe next year.
I remember some Windjammer cruises which required *very* little luggage. They’d spring “pirates and prostitutes” night on us and there was a lot of creativity using a really limited wardrobe.
Pirates & Prostitutes??? Ok….
Groovy Pumpkins!!!!
They were!
