After Thanksgiving dinner, we stayed around for the entertainment. A few of us danced throughout the evening. But when the band closed with a rendition of I Will Survive, the entire group leapt to their feet and onto the dance floor. (Even the non-dancers!) We’ve had many “theme song” moments in these pre-cruise days. First there was Gilligan’s Isle, then Istanbul (Not Constantinople), then Say Something I’m Giving Up On You. But this one felt like the grand finale of theme songs. We Will Survive.
“At first I was afraid, I was petrified.
Kept thinking I could never live without you by my side.
It took all the strength I had not to fall apart
Kept trying hard to mend the pieces of my broken heart
And I spent oh-so-many nights just feeling sorry for myself
You think I’d crumble? You think I’d lay down and die?
Oh no, not I
I will survive.“
We WILL Survive.

I agree with Debbie’s comment. I hope that you are able to, not too far down the road, get your (revised) dream adventure.
Thank you for your updates and posts. My friend Andrea is with you and had suggested your blogs. I’m so sorry for all of you…But YES…You will all survive and it will be the biggest story of your life!
Blessings….
