Day 44: November 15, 2024 – Grenada
The small island country of Grenada was our second Caribbean stop. That’s my home, behind the sign.

The country is known for its rich supply of spices, including mace (below) nutmeg, cloves, and cinnamon. Spice shops were everywhere.

I’m loving the brilliant colors of Caribbean flowers.

My excursion today was to Grand Etang Lake, where I tried out a local specialty, rum punch. It turned out to be mostly rum with just a dash of punch, definitely had a kick to it! The woman who served us had a lovely smile; she is the face of Grenada in the Faces of the World gallery
.

This trio entertained us by the lake.

A Mona monkey makes its way around the gardens.

The Beaver Supermoon over Grenada for our sail-away.

Next stop: St. Lucia
