Day 58: November 29, 2024 – St. Maartin, Caribbean
We may all be in the same boat (so to speak) but my shipmates have very different travel styles. In St. Maartin, I set off with Eddie and Angel on a walk through the small town of Philipsburg. Eddie briefed me on the rules he follows when touring a city, one of which is that when you see a statue, you must pose like the statue and take a picture. So here is what a day with Eddie and Angel looks like.

Next stop: Tortola, British Virgin Islands

That’s great rule. You’ll remember it longer. Were all these statue in one place? I am trying to figure out the theme here.
They were all along the boardwalk in the marina. I don’t think there was any theme, as far as I could tell.
Haha! Love it
Love it, stealing it.
Now that is a good rule to have and it immortalises the statue in your mind. Hummm me adopt that ruling when we get back to traveling.
I’ll have to remember this tradition next time I travel !
