Days 419-420: November 23-24, 2025 – Luganville, Vanuatu, South Pacific
I thought nothing could surpass the turquoise waters of Bonaire. But Vanuatu just did. Serene beaches with the most brilliant shades of blue. Soft white sand. Comfortably warm waters. The two I went to, Champagne Beach and Orly Beach, are considered two of the best in the South Pacific. Neither was very crowded when we were there.

Orly Beach (below) has been called the most “paradise-like” beach in the world.

Tucked away inside Vanuatu’s forests are its famous blue holes, naturally occurring freshwater springs with crystal clear waters. This one is over 50 feet deep and you can see all the way down to the bottom. It’s a favorite spot for swimmers and snorkelers.

Look at that tan! You have disposed of all your northeast Poland genes. You have that beautiful sun-kissed perpetual summer look . Bardzo ci pasuje.
Dziekuje! I do like the sun-kissed look. But it doesn’t take much to get sun-burned instead of sun-kissed. It’s an ongoing battle.
I didn’t think you would ever be so tan! You look terrific with that blue!
Yeah it seems like a permanent tan at this point!
Nice pics! We’re seeing some fantastic things. Thanks for sharing.
Yes we have!
Breathtaking!
Indeed
The Nanda Blue Hole photos are exquisite!
That’s how Oregon’s Crater Lake impressed me, the bluest of blues.
I remember that lake!
So glad you enjoyed. I have been to Santo and all those places. Can’t wait to go back one day. Love Vanuatu
You are adapting well to island life. You look radiant.
Thanks, looking forward to seeing you on board
I now want to see a blue hole.
Everyone should see one at least once in their life 😄
Perfectly serene, and lovely photos.
I loved the peacefulness of it too.

Island girl! Living the good life. I’m happy to see you so happy. 😁
We’ll be spending at least two months on various islands, so yeah definitely feeling like an island girl 😄
