Island Hopping

Day 607: May 30, 2026 – Coron, Palawan, Philippines

What do we do when we get off the ship in a port? Get back on another ship! Or in this case, a yacht, to do some island hopping to places a cruise ship can’t take us. Ben, excursion organizer extraordinaire, put together a private yacht tour for 8 of us that showcased the best of the Coron Bay area.

The scenery was exquisite. Crystal-clear emerald waters. Towering limestone cliffs. The snorkelers amongst us (that is everyone but me; still not comfortable jumping from a boat!) raved about the coral and fish life.
