Day 708: September 3, 2026 – Ha Long Bay, Vietnam
What do Odysseans do when they reach land? Get on another boat! I usually prefer land exploration in ports but couldn’t resist a tour through Ha Long Bay, one of Southeast Asia’s most picturesque areas.
The bay is a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its thousands of limestone karst towers, jade-green waters, and caves with impressive rock formations. It was a breathtaking 5-hour exploration through Vietnam’s finest landscape.
