Hong Kong High

Day 703-704 (Month 23): August 29-30, 2026 – Hong Kong

If I had to use one word to describe Hong Kong, it would be skyscrapers. Thousands of them, in all shapes, sizes and colors, to accommodate its 7.3 million residents. It is half the size of Rhode Island (smallest state in U.S.) but has 7 times as many residents. It is considered a Special Administrative Region of China, although its governing system is very different. A couple days here gave us a glimpse of this fascinating global metropolis.

That’s what I think of when I think of Hong Kong – skyscrapers. Is it worth seeing though Basia?
